Whitby RNLI & Friends versus Emmerdale Allstars
On the 2nd of September 2012 the Whitby Lifeboat Crew and Friends football team will be hosting a charity football match against the cast and crew of the popular ITV soap Emmerdale.
The match is to be held at the Whitby town football clubs Turnbull Ground, kick off is at 2pm.
The Emmerdale stars confirmed are Sam Dingle, Sean Spencer, Robbie Lawson, Arron Livesey, Adam Barton and Carl King, more to follow
The Lifeboat crew last played Emmerdale back in November 2009, although the score was 1-0 to the away side it was a very successful day despite the miserable weather. This time we are looking to make it even more successful, on the day there will be a raffle with lots of great prizes up for grabs, there will be a charity auction held by the Emmerdale Star Chris Chittel (Eric Pollard) with a number of items open to the highest bidder, “Stormy Stan” the lifeboat mascot will be in attendance and will be hosting a half time penalty shoot out for the children.
Gate entry fees are £3 for adults £1.50 for children with all proceeds going to the Whitby RNLI.
